From the list made above, the university with the lowest JAMB cut off mark for nursing is Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), a State University located in Kogi. This simply means that with 140 or above in UTME, you can study nursing in the school.
The institution was established in 1999 and has produced thousands of nursing students who are profound in the field.
The fact that PAAU accepts low cut off mark students does not make it less than other institution. Instead, the university accept low cut off mark because they believe that potential nurses are not determined by JAMB score.

- Switch to a nursing institution with lower cut off mark: Just like the options we gave you above, you can switch to other universities which accept low UTME score for nursing
- Go for IJMB or JUPEB: IJMB and JUPEB have been rescuing students for years. It works in a way that after your 1 year program, you will be admitted directly to 200 level in the university without JAMB. This may be a better option for you.
- Consider switching to a course with lower cut off mark: There are other courses out there with lower cut off marks. If you were unable to meet the cut off point for your course of interest, changing to another course may be a better option. However, if your dream has always been to study that particular course, do well to chase that with passion.
- Reapply for JAMB: You still have an option to rewrite JAMB. If you have failed once, try again and ensure to prepare better this time.
