1. MTN Foundation Scholarship
MTN, a leading telecom company, offers the sum of 200,000 Naira yearly to the winners of its scholarship to help sort out fees in school.
The MTN scholarship is merit based as it is awarded based on academic achievement. The scholarship is divided into segments which include:
- MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS): This scholarship is open to 300 level students who are studying Science & Technology related courses, in any Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

2. NNPC/SEPLAT JV Scholarship
This is an undergraduate scholarship programme held by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in collaboration with SEPLAT oil company.
These bodies offer scholarships as financial assistance to Nigerian undergraduates students.
Every year, the NNPC/SEPLAT scholarship awards their winners 200,000 Naira cash price to help pay up school fees.
The NNPC/SEPLAT JV scholarship is particularly for second year (200L) or higher students in federal or state universities in Nigeria.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian
- Be in the second year of study or higher in any federal or state university in Nigeria.
- Have at least 5 O’ level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in one sitting.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or higher.
3. Total Scholarship by TotalEnergy
Total scholarship offers opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students. For the undergraduates, it offers a yearly award of 150,000 Naira while it offers a fully funded scholarship to study abroad for graduate students.
To qualify for the total scholarship for undergraduates, you must be a student in an accredited federal or state university in Nigeria. You must have 5 credit pass in O’level including English language and mathematics.

Such person must have displayed academic excellence in his previous academic years as the award is strictly based on merit.

5. WAAW Scholarship for Undergraduates
This is another undergraduate scholarship opportunity which young women who are looking to pursue a degree program in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

- To be eligible for the WAAW undergraduate programme, you need to be a female student who is willing to pursue a degree in STEM.

6. Bishop Oyedepo Scholarship
This is a fully funded scholarship for all African students from different African countries who wish to pursue their undergraduate degree at Covenant and Landmark Universities in Nigeria.
To qualify for this scholarship, one must meet the following requirements
- WAEC result, recommendations, essays and Transcripts
- Applicant must be between the ages of 16 – 25.
- He must be an African student residing in Africa and ready to take his undergraduate studies Covenant and Landmark Universities in Nigeria.
While the scholarship is largely based on merit, it is also required that each student demonstrates that he really needs the scholarship. In other words, the student must have shown that he is unable to afford his education, hence, resorting to a free scholarship.

7. NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship
This is another suitable scholarship programme for first university students in Nigeria. It is designed to award first year students who have just been admitted into the university following their outstanding academic performance.
Every year, the NLNG calls on qualified and interested 100 level students to submit their online applications to be reviewed.
To qualify for the NLNG scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- You mave at least 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language
- You must be a Nigerian
- Candidate must be between the ages of 18-25
- Applicant must be enrolled in eligible course in an accredited university in Nigeria
