The Joint Professional Training and Support (JPTS) university scholarship application for 2025/2026 is now open. All interested students are expected to submit their online or offline application before the closing date as late entry will not be accepted.

Every year, JPTS university offers fully funded scholarships to only eligible students. To be qualified for this scholarship, there are certain requirements which you must meet and we are going to look at those requirements here.

What is JPTS scholarship?

JPTS scholarship is an annual free education program which is offered by the The Joint Professional Training and Support, a US-Nigerian accredited educational institution assisting Nigerians to obtain professional certifications in a broad range of ambitions, which is also seen as a world-class above academic qualifications.

In other words, the Joint Professional Training and Support (JPTS) being an international institute offers free education to qualified candidates in Nigeria in both undergraduate and graduate programmes who would come out to have degree certifications in their areas of study.

JPTS Scholarship Requirements 2025

The scholarship is open to everyone who meets the eligibility requirements and the award is strictly based on merit. Below are the application criteria:

1. Interested candidate must take an entrance test through which the university evaluates and selects the best candidates for the scholarship.
2. After the entrance examination, selected candidates are expected complete their application by submitting the previous year’s degree from an eligible university.
3. A student is expected to show proficiency in both spoken and written English Language.

Fee and Benefits of JPTS Scholarship

1. Winners of the JPTS scholarship will gain the International & Global Student ID Card with financial connections and a discount.
2. Fees: Most of the fees are not covered by JPTS University as the students are expected to pay some minor fees (according to praogrammes). However, the university fully covers the school and administrative fees. The fees and benefits of the scholarship include:
   • Application Fee: for bachelor programme is 5,000 Naira and the masters programe is 10,000 Naira (Paid by candidates)
   • Acceptance Fee: for bachelor programme is 5,000 Naira and the masters programe is 10,000 Naira. (Paid by candidates)
   • Tuition Fee: for bachelor programme is 150,000 Naira and the masters programe is 200,000 Naira (fully paid by JPTS university)
   • Examination Fee: Bachelor programmes is 2,000 Naira per course and the Masters programme is 2,500 Naira per course (Paid by candidates)
   • Administrative Fees: Bachelor programme is 10,000 Naira and the masters programe is 15,000 Naira (fully paid by JPTS university)
   • Professional Certification Fee: Bachelor programme is 10,000 Naira and the masters programe is 10,000 Naira (Paid by candidates)
   • Project Fee: Bachelor programme is 20,000 Naira and the masters programe is 20,000 Naira (Paid by candidates)
   • Convocation Fee: Bachelor programme is 30,000 Naira and the masters programe is 30,000 Naira (Paid by candidates)

How To Apply for JPTS Scholarship 2025/2026

Application is based both online and offline. You may choose any of these means to apply.

• For offline student, visit the JPTS Secretariat (29 Koya Akinwale street, Off Aina Obembe Road, Ipaja, Lagos) to Write the admission/entrance examination. For online student, you simply head over to the online registration portal.
• Enter all the required information on the page. Ensure to use an active email address
• The entrance examination link will be sent to you via email. Head over to your email and click on the link to start writing your admission exam.
• Once you pass the examination and you are selected, you will receive a “provisional admission letter” via the same email, telling you that you have been selected for JPTS institute scholarship.
• Print your admission letter and head over to a nearby JPTS location or contact the admission officer via email.
