In this article, I will share with you everything you need to know about the Tertiary Education Subsidy scholarship program including the requirements, documents needed, scholarship amount, deadline and step by step guide on how to apply.
What is TES Scholarship?
TES is an acronym which means Tertiary Education Subsidy. It is a scholarship scheme which offers annual financial assistance to qualified students, geared to fully or partially supporting the cost of tertiary education of students in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), CHED recognized Local Universities and Colleges (LUC) and Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
In order to accommodate every student in this  scheme, the UniFAST Board decided to include cities and towns without SUC or LUCs. In that, TES provides access to quality tertiary education in towns and cities which have no State Universities and Colleges or Local Universities and Colleges in them.
The TES scholarship is a program under the UniFAST umbrella under the RA 10931 of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.
